I’m still really enjoying my Vegan Cuts box! It’s definitely my fave of the three beauty sub boxes I’ve tried in the past. I’ll be continuing for another two months at least, and then may switch it up. Who knows! Anywho, here’s what was in my July Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. Bodi-Safe Beauty (Lip & Cheek )
When I first pulled this from the box, I was really excited. I loved the color. Sadly, I do not like this product at all. I find it really greasy on the cheeks, and it pretty much just smears right off the lips after a few minutes of talking. Not something I’d recommend, nor do I plan to finish using it.
Suntegrity Skincare SPF 30 Sunscreen
Love this! In the past, I’ve had natural sunscreens that were awful. Sticky, clumpy, and hard to rub in. This one is great. It’s creamy, moisturizing, and easily blends into the skin. Definitely recommend for a face sunscreen!
Zoe Organics Aromatherapy Oil
I am inexplicably missing a picture for this product, and am too lazy to stop writing this post and go take one. If you’re super curious, scroll up and check out the header image; it’s item number 3. It’s an aromatherapy oil in a roller that your rub on to your temples, neck, and behind the ears (according to the directions.) I really like it! The scent is quite lovely, and not overpowering. I tend to swipe it on in the evening after I’ve washed my face in the hopes that it will help relax my brain before bedtime.
Molly Rose Balms Lip Scrub
Ohhhh, how I love this. This is the second Molly Rose product I’ve received in a Vegan Cuts box, and I love them both. This scrub is wonderful. Not too coarse on the lips, but still buffs away any chapped skin and leaves your lips feeling plump and lovely! Plus, it’s a sugar scrub so any residue left on your lips tastes delicious. The directions even advise licking off any excess if you like! I plan to treat myself to an order from this shop soon.
Nature’s Shea Butter in Tangerine Lime
This is wonderfully moisturizing. Like most thick shea butters, it does take working in, but I love it. I actually plan on saving this for fall/winter, as my hands get SO DRY AND CRACKED, which is kind of the worst for making art. Or you know, existing. I’ll be slathering this all over them to stave off the dryness for sure!
Hello Mojito Mint Toothpaste (Travel Size)
Umm, not much to say about this. It’s mint toothpaste. I like it. Different from the standard Crest-style brand, but just fine otherwise. It’s going in with the travel stuff as we have quite a few trips coming up.
Modicum Skin Care Essential Oil
I love the way this feels. Like most oils, a little goes a long way. If you have really oily skin, you may avoid it. But it leaves my face feeling moisturized and refreshed after a cleansing. However, I am not wild about the scent. It’s earthy, which I’m hit or miss with. This one, not my fave. I’ll use it up, but it’s not something I’d buy.
Have you tried out Vegan Cuts? They also have a new Yoga Box which I am super curious about, but can’t exactly justify the money towards. I may switch from the Beauty Box to the Yoga Box for a month just to see what it’s like! And you can be sure I’ll share all about it here.
