Summer Vegan Cuts Makeup Box

Summer Vegan Cuts Makeup Box

When my summer Vegan Cuts Makeup Box showed up at my PO Box, I was mixed with both excitement and a little bit of sadness. Excitement because, DUH, box full of cruelty-free makeup goodies! Sadness because this will be my last box. I’ve now gotten a makeup box for each season (read about the Fall, Winter, and Spring boxes!) and honestly, I’ve got enough makeup.

I am not a makeup-every-day kind of gal. Let’s be real – I work from home; it’s an accomplishment to not spend the day in sweatpants. Now that I have received a makeup box for each season, I have quite the collection! So this will be my last Vegan Cuts box…at least for awhile. Let’s take a peek in that summer Vegan Cuts Makeup Box, shall we?

I purchased this box with my own money but as an ambassador for Vegan Cuts the links in this post are affiliate links. Purchasing via these links earns me a small commission. All opinions about the products are 100% my own.

The first thing I pulled out made the whole box for me. This gorgeous Vegan Cuts makeup bag! I absolutely love it. I was on the hunt for a new makeup bag so pulling this out legitimately made my day. It’s large, and very sturdy so it will hold up to travel well.

Next was this gorgeous Pacifica Rainbow Crystals Liquid Mineral Strobe Multi-Use Highlighter. The name is certainly a mouthful but THAT PACKAGING. So. Lovely. The highlighter itself is amazing. It is SO FREAKING SPARKLY. I’ve actually been letting my kiddo wear some on her cheeks so we can be glitter queens together.

One thing to be warned about? Don’t apply to much. This is bronze tinted, and although it blends in really well, too much will result in a bronze bar of highlighter on your face. I do wish I had gotten the silver or white option instead of the bronze (there were three, and you got sent one of three) with me being super pale and all, but what can you do.

The Emani Vegan Cosmetics Tantalizing Trio Eye Color is absolutely perfect for me. I love the natural tones, with just a bit of shimmer. This palette has become my go-to for a casual look.

This Au Naturale Cosmetics Eternity Lipstick in the color Innocence is surprisingly great! It goes on so smooth, almost like a tinted lip balm but with way more color. I really like it!

And the last item in the box was my only disappointment. The Manna Kadar Cosmetics Prime Time Eye and Lip Primer is just something I don’t think I’ll use. I did use it on my eyelids before doing a full shadow look one day, and didn’t notice that it made any difference re: staying power. And lip primer…yeah I’m just not gonna do that haha. So this product will probably go largely untouched.

I put together a full makeup look using the items from the box (plus mascara). Like I said, I don’t do a full face of makeup often, but when I do it’s nice to have great makeup to choose from.

As usual, this box was a great value. The Vegan Cuts Makeup Box costs $39.95 per quarter with free US shipping. The total value of the summer Vegan Cuts Makeup Box was $102!!! That’s crazy, and excellent. Also, the Makeup Boxes come with full size products not just samples. I’m sure once I use up a bunch of the great products I have, I’ll be subscribing again!

      Thank you so much! <3

  • You’re looking great, girl! Super jealous of that gorgeous makeup bag and of the sheer amount of make up you own. πŸ™‚ I barely have any, and it’s so tough to find out what looks good on yourself. :/

Thanks so much Rav! I absolutely hate shopping for makeup; it’s so overwhelming. So boxes are definitely a great option for me since I just get what I get haha. Plus with many makeup boxes (including this one) you generally get a survey or something asking about what type of makeup you like/would wear (and skin tones). Don’t know what they have outside of the US for boxes, but if they have one in your country it could be worth checking out!

      • That’s definitely true. I think my fear with boxes is that it will contain things I won’t wear (for instance, I’m just not a lipstick fan), but on the other hand it will make you experiment from the comfort of your home. Hate that in a shop, too. Thanks!

  • You look gorgeous! And that makeup bag is so awesome.

      Thank you so much!
