Rainbow Falls – Hike #3

Rainbow Falls trail

This past Saturday we decided to head out to the Rainbow Falls trail in Plymouth, NH. Rainbow Falls in a super easy hike – perfect for a day where we wanted to be outside and enjoy some fresh air, but not have to work to hard at it! The trail is 1.2 miles in-and-out, and there is very little incline at all. You’re not hiking a mountain – just hiking through the woods to the waterfall!

The rocks next to the falls are actually perfect for climbing – wide areas which aren’t super dangerous. When our kiddo is a little older it’ll be a blast to play on!

There is also a trail leading to the top of Rainbow Falls so you can get a top-down view. That’s especially exciting for the kiddos – to stand on the edge of a waterfall! Plus the top are has great wading sections of the river. It made for a lovely Saturday afternoon!
